Privacy policy

This explains what TLC Med Clinics collects when you use this site, why, and what control you have over it.

What we collect

Your name and the email address or phone number you sign up with; appointment details including the service, doctor, date and any notes you write; payment confirmations from our payment providers; and a profile photo if you upload one. Doctors also provide a specialization and short bio shown to patients.

How we use it

To book and manage your appointments, to connect you to your doctor for a video, audio or chat consultation, to send you reminders and updates, and to take payment. We do not sell your information or use it for advertising.

Who we share it with

Only the people and services needed to run your care: the doctor assigned to you, clinic staff who manage bookings, and our processors — Google Firebase for accounts and records, Cloudinary for images, Stripe and PayPal for payments, and Daily.co for video and audio calls. Each receives only what it needs.

How we protect it

Access is restricted by role — a doctor only sees the patients assigned to them. Chat consultations are encrypted per session, so message contents are not readable from the database. Payment card details never reach our servers; they are handled entirely by the payment provider.

How long we keep it

Medical and appointment records are kept for as long as the clinic is required to retain them under Pakistani medical record-keeping practice. You can ask us to delete your account and anything not subject to that requirement.

Your choices

You can view and correct your details at any time in Settings, add or remove an email or phone number, turn notification sounds off, and — if you're a doctor — hide your online status. To request a copy of your data or its deletion, contact the clinic.

Cookies and local storage

We store your sign-in session and your language choice in your browser. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies on this site.

Children

Accounts are for adults. A parent or guardian should book and manage appointments on behalf of a child, using their own account.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a way that affects you, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, tell you in the app.
